There is an abundance of material available that is filled with information, ideas and systems all geared toward the attainment of better health.  Much of this material is of great value; some of it is without merit.  It is extremely important to do your due diligence prior to adapting diet, exercise or other lifestyle changes.  Once you have come to the conclusion that a particular concept or approach could work well for you, then gradually integrate it into your life and stick with it. 

     You must establish both long and short term goals for yourself.  Each time you attain one of your short term goals, have a small reward planned for yourself. Take small steps. Please do not try to make major changes to your lifestyle in a few short weeks; this may very well end up in disappointment. Take things slowly and enjoy it.  In time you will begin to experience a sense of fulfillment.
